The TSOP1838 is a 3-pin infrared receiver module designed to detect 38kHz modulated IR signals from remote controls. It features an integrated photodiode, preamplifier, automatic gain control (AGC), and demodulator, providing a clean digital output for easy interfacing with microcontrollers such as Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, and PIC.
