Water Level Indicator Kit
The Water Level Indicator is a simple DIY electronics project that detects the level of water in a container or tank and provides a visual and/or audible indication when the water reaches different levels. It is an ideal educational kit for students, beginners, and hobbyists to learn about water sensing and basic electronic circuits. Suitable for school science exhibitions, STEM education, and DIY electronics projects.
Components
- BC547 NPN Transistor
- LED (Red, Yellow, Green)
- 5V Buzzer
- 1K Resistors
- 9V Battery
- 9V Battery Connector
Working Principle
The water level indicator works by using the conductivity of water. As the water level rises and touches the sensor probes, a small current flows through the water, activating the BC547 transistor. The corresponding LEDs light up to indicate the water level, and when the maximum level is reached, the buzzer sounds to alert the user.
