BLUE 5mm LED DIFFUSED

For a 5mm through-hole LED, the positive (+) and negative (−) terminals can be identified as follows:

• Positive (+) / Anode: Longer lead
• Negative (−) / Cathode: Shorter lead
• The flat edge on the LED body also indicates the negative (−) / cathode side.
• Inside the LED, the larger internal metal plate is the negative (−) / cathode, while the smaller metal post is the positive (+) / anode.
