An Automatic Street Light is a system that automatically switches street lights ON at night and OFF during the daytime without manual operation. It commonly uses an LDR (Light Dependent Resistor) or a light sensor to detect the surrounding light level.

Working Principle

• During the day, sunlight falls on the LDR, reducing its resistance. The control circuit keeps the street light OFF.
• At night, the light level decreases, increasing the LDR's resistance. The control circuit activates the transistor or relay, turning the street light ON automatically
